Alone ?

I have spent some time alone in my life. I have been away from my family for months at a time due to being in far away places with strange sounding names wearing a uniform. The past 7 weeks is by far the worst time of my life as far as being alone. Maryna will be back in the US in 5 days. She lands at Dulles at 4.45 on the 14th . It will take them another hour or more to get through customs, if everything goes right. We all know when something can go wrong it will when it comes to travel.
My brain hurts and I am going crazy . I have to leave Sunday for Atlantic City for 3 days. Sunday will be the last time that we will talk before they arrive. Monday they have all kinds of things to do before they leave at 04.00 Tuesday morning for a 21 , yes 21 hour train ride from Uzhgorod to Kiev. That is riding across the whole country of Ukraine just to catch a plane to Amsterdam and then across the Atlantic to Dulles Va. Now you may ask , Patrick why did they not fly to Kiev ? Well two reasons really. 1- The flight from Uzhgorod does not leave in time to catch the flight from Kiev to Amsterdam. 2. Maryna who does not like to throw away money or time would not leave a day early just to save some time and have to spend a thousand dollars on 3 tickets and a room in Kiev for one night, just to catch a flight when a first class train ticket that cost the 4 of them less than $100.00. Oh, her brother Viktor is going to Kiev with them to help with the bags and to tell Babushka bye. So I am not worried about their well being. They will be safe with Viktor with them, he also went with them when that went for the Visa Interview last month. Are you bored yet ?
Have ya'll ever heard of Classmates.com ? I found it the other night , filled out the form, saw some names from the past and guess what ? One of my best gal pals from the past wrote me a letter. Nelle her brother Eddie and his wife Emily are doing great. I was glad to hear from them and I will be seeing them when we return to NC. This is a good thing.......
